Following this photo session I was asked to design a calendar including one of the pictures so the family could send it out as their New Year’s greeting.  I agreed and then started actually putting together a calendar in Photoshop.  Not as quick and easy as I thought it would be.  I finally did a Google search and found a template that had the 12 months with the numbers and weekdays in it but still had to go into each one and change the font and so on and so on.  It was a fun learning experience.  I remember my first few months of using Photoshop and how frustrated I was because I always knew what I wanted to accomplish but had a hard time figuring out which tools to use to get there.  I can safely say now that I haven’t been stumped in a while and love being able to figure out what I need to do to finish my designs.  For all of you out there struggling with Photoshop…it will be easy some day.  Enjoy the pictures.
